Course Aim

To give the participants the knowledge to assess the danger associated with chemical and biological spills and take the appropriate action to avoid spills and control spills where necessary

  • Know the standard practices for the containment of biological agents

  • Assess hazards presented by spills
  • Identify Haz-Mat spills
  • Cean-up spills where appropriate
  • When and where to report spills
  • Know how to decontaminate spill sites

Assessment

Participants are required to complete a brief written assessment on completion of the course

Participants will receive certification of attendance on completion of the course
