Course Aim
The aim of the course is to give participants the knowledge to be able to assess when to tackle fires and the skill to be able to use a fire extinguisher safely and effectively
Objectives
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify possible fire hazards in the workplace
- List control measures to be put in place
- Know and understand the uses of the various types of fire extinguishers
- Select the correct type of fire extinguisher for the task
